Poshmark: Buy & Sell Fashion App Reviews

**edit to original review** There is a lot of effort put into protecting the buyer from this company which can be appreciated but there is very little done to protect the sellers integrity. It would be nice to be able to respond to a buyers review. The communication channels in the app are pretty lacking and the only way to address a buyer is in the comments of a certain item which doesnt seem to be the most appropriate place to communicate issues. While Im sure the percentage that sellers pay to the company is addressed in many other reviews it is very high. I have been successful selling on the app but I do think I will be exploring other selling options soon. Original: While I am still new to the app and maybe havent had enough time to establish an opinion there are a few things that I have noticed. The first and biggest thing is when adding pictures of items to sell it is pretty annoying/inconvenient that the photo can only be the square size image. Unless I remember to take the photos initially like that with my iPhone camera it often crops out a large portion of my item. Which is not good if I am trying to sell something. I also dont know why they spent the time to add filters for the cover photo. Isnt that a little deceiving to a buyer. I do appreciate the ability to adjust which notification I actually receive updates on because it can be a little overwhelming to get notifications every time there is any activity on my closet.

This is the worst shopping/ selling app Ive ever used. I was scammed and when I reached out to the customer service department I was blocked from the app. So now I am out $70+ because the customer service department decided to ignore my complaints and instead of dealing with the situation they blocked me. Disgusting business.

I liked Poshmark initially but I am not liking it anymore. I hate that I have to list my items so high just because Poshmark takes high percentage from the sellers. Bad for sellers and bad for buyers as well. Meanwhile in Mercari you get the exact amount you sell your item for. Mercari does not take any percentage from the sellers. If you want to get good stuffs for cheap price, say goodbye to Poshmark soon and join Mercari instead. Good luck!

Poshmark is such an awesome place to buy & sell online! It was extremely easy to pick up-I had my 1st item listed within minutes! I feel very safe using Poshmark too because of the amazing Posh support team. Also-there are so many people (buyers & sellers) that are willing to help with questions you may have. Sooo many items for sale-pretty much whatever your looking for, its on there! Easy-Fun-Safe! What more could you need

Overall this is a great app for selling gently used brand name items. This is not the place to sell that shirt you bought at target 3 years ago because chances are it will never sell and if it does youll break even by the time you buy a bag to ship it. Poshmarks cut is pretty high but you can factor that in when selling an item... But they will probably have to change that because half the people use the site to set up deals on mercari and do the transaction through that app to spare the fee and lower the price for the buyer. It is convenient though for shipping and there is a better selection than mercari. Theres no way to respond to a buyer if they leave negative feedback or get that removed which is a drag. I havent had a negative experience buying or selling yet so I still use it.

Poshmark is a great market place for buying and selling. Its so easy and fast to upload your closet. Ive met some really great people here. For best results, just follow the Poshmark guidelines and be fair to your fellow Poshers. I highly recommend this app

Easy to use. Always improving. My only issue is dealing with "fake" buyers, & some buyers who accept items in excellent condition, yet decide to give unfair ratings. Or someone who claims they never got their item. Luckily, Poshmark still pays the seller.

I wanted to sell some new/used items, so I downloaded this awhile back. Zero problems! Its so fast and easy to list items or to search for that certain something. The fact that its for womens clothes (etc.) is a huge plus over navigating big sites. The clean, simple design is fabulous. I am not good at math, and I loathed previous selling experiences involving trying to figure out postage and packaging. Poshmark takes care of all that, and thats worth their cut to me: its all spelled out, theres no middleman, and mailing is a breeze. There is a good community of people on here, and communications are excellent (and easy). No hesitation giving this 5 stars.

Its a great way to shop/sell and trade all types of cloths and smaller items. The only thing I would like better is a better way to rearrange the items in my closet. Easy drag and drop so shoppers can look at my items in an organized way without having to go through all the sold items first.

Ive been buying and selling on poshmark for over a year and honestly have had no issues and have found some great bargains. I highly recommend

They can use more customer support-but I made over 7k- I had no idea when I signed up for some random app I would make so much money- there are other similar apps now-but Im sticking w Posh. They have millions of customers and are here to stay!! Thanks Poshmark

I love the idea of this app! If you have something in your mind that youre looking for than youre much more likely to find quality results. Ive purchased twice from the app and so far very pleased with it!! My only complaint is the interface can be confusing and the ease of use needs to be more streamlined and accessible, I feel like the interaction with the app is kinda choppy and could flow more easily. Theres also no way (that Ive found) to view bundles that youve created. I cant ever go back to them I just have to re create them and the seller sees this every time!
